Launch Day Notes

Little LUMI Model released on 3 September 2026 as a paid Steam desktop companion for Windows 11. Studio LUMI is developer and publisher. App ID 5075020. Launch price $3.99 USD, with a 20% introductory offer through 17 September 2026 (sale tile $3.19). This page is the 1.0 snapshot. Same-day freeze fix: hotfix 1.0.1. Index: updates hub.

What 1.0 put on the desktop

She walks the bottom of the monitor, climbs the window you type in, hangs from title bars, and naps. She walks, runs, sprints, and skids with a puff of dust. She uses walls, ceilings, window edges, and window faces, and she will dive off a title bar. Idle is tilts, notes, hops, sitting, looking around, mumbling. Credits fall from the sky; she chimes when she picks them up. 64 behaviours, 122 hand-drawn frames.

You pat her head (cursor becomes a hand). You pick her up, shake her, throw her. Click once for hello. Right-click for a specific action, or call her to the cursor from the tray. Affection has six stages fed by days together and head pats. 50 Steam achievements span the first hello to the thousandth credit.

Quiet-work tools shipped in 1.0: focus mode, pomodoro, alarms, favours, hide on fullscreen. Extra Lumis shipped via Call Another LUMI. Optional extras shipped off: Bongo Lumi, Floating Garden, Pythagoras, Window toss. Steam Workshop shipped for extra characters; the Voice Pack is a subscribe-and-Sound-tab item, not a second SKU required to run the pet.

Engineering pitch: Java bundled, no separate account, offline by default, no launcher spam, notifications only if you turn them on, you pick which apps she may climb, multiple monitors and scaling supported.

Specs and languages

Minimum: 64-bit OS, Windows 11, x64 2.0 GHz, 2048 MB RAM, 400 MB disk. Steam Deck compatibility is unknown. macOS and Linux are not listed. See troubleshooting if you are on an unsupported OS.

UI languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese. The Voice Pack is optional recorded voice, not a language pack.

Price and reviews

$3.99 is the list price. The intro 20% ends 17 September 2026. That discount does not gate features. There is no in-app code box and no battle pass.

Launch reception: Very Positive, on the order of 107 reviews, 100% positive in the snapshot this wiki is using. A perfect ratio on a small sample is a good sign that the pet matches the gif, not a promise that Parade never froze Settings — we know it could, which is why 1.0.1 exists.

What 1.0 did not include

  • No official public table of all six affection stage names. Home shows current and next; this wiki quotes Getting used to you and Opening up from a live tab. See affection.
  • No public index of all 64 clip names. See behaviours.
  • No wiki-legal list of all 50 achievement titles. Ten confirmed names live on achievements.
  • No requirement to run LUMI Chat. That mod wants an API key and is separate.
  • No mobile client and no documented Deck verify.

Owners who summoned extras on launch afternoon could hit a Parade error dialog that froze Settings. Studio LUMI shipped hotfix 1.0.1 before the day was over. First-week setup assumes you are on that build.

Official URLs: store, news, Workshop, discussions, streamerlumi.com, mail ai.init.alpha@gmail.com. The links hub repeats them beside wiki hubs.

If you are installing after that afternoon, you are not late to a live-service season. You are late to a one-day bug. Take Getting Started, hide her on fullscreen, and let Home start counting days together.
